Hanji Cell Relics & Art Capsules

Chapter I: THE MACRO CAPSULES — The Grand Reliquary

The Primal Blaze

: The Combustion of Dark Matter and Ethereal Light

"A dense ignition core bursting into a fiery black flame—capturing the raw quantum combustion where dark matter erupts into luminous, eternal energy."

CURATION ANATOMY: The Architecture of Light

  • Ignition Core & Black Flame

The high-density mulberry cell network on the left serves as a powerful ignition core, sweeping violently toward the right as a sculpted "Black Flame" across the open void.

  • Quantum Combustion

Capturing the precise threshold of quantum combustion—where dense, physical matter explosively converts into light, motion, and fluid cosmic energy.

  • Fiery Sparks of Gold & Light

As ambient light transmits through the raw Hanji fibers, embedded gold and oxidized leaf particles ignite like brilliant sparks leaping from a fierce primal blaze, breathing raw vitality into the surrounding space.

STORYTELLING & PHILOSOPHY

  • The 46-Year Inkstone Ritual

Pigmented with traditional Korean Muk (ink) from the artist's personal inkstone preserved for over 46 years (since age 11). This capsule seals a lifetime of soul and consciousness into an eternal cosmic relic.

  • Compression of Time (46 Years & 1,000 Years)

A sacred union between the artist’s 46-year lived consciousness and the 1,000-year archival permanence of traditional hand-sculpted Hanji.

  • Quantum Contemplation (Particle vs. Wave)

Pure water and rich ink stretch raw mulberry fibers to their absolute physical threshold. When ambient light strikes the exposed fibers and gold/oxidized leaf, static matter transforms into a fluid wave of cosmic energy, inducing Nature’s 1/f Fluctuation.

"Even the pedestal is an active sculptural medium. The subtle variation in light reflection—where the satin depth of the traditional ink meets the single matte stroke of Black Gesso—ensures that the base itself responds dynamically to ambient light alongside the acrylic monolith."
