To capture the silent, profound inception of life within the early planetary crust, Habenhaus orchestrates a sacred 24-Hour Cellular Hydration Ritual, freezing a highly dramatic asymmetric dialogue of matter upon the canvas. The composition completely discards structural wire architectures, relying purely on the raw gravities of its mineral elements. In the upper-left quadrant, a towering, rugged mountain ridge of handcrafted Hanji rises powerfully. Underneath its surface, the raw, gleaming memory of copper leaf remains partially visible, beautifully shrouded by a heavy, newly applied mantle of weathered Oxidized Copper Leaf—mimicking ancient volcanic veins slowly patinating over eons.

Chapter II: JI (EARTH)

In perfect diagonal tension in the lower-right quadrant, the artist has dramatically expanded the sacred ground of the dormant seed into a massive, cavernous Terraced Obsidian Womb. Sculpted from stratified layers of black Hanji mixed with midnight black gesso and Lineco archival adhesive, this dark abyss represents the dense, step-well-like terraced layers of the early Earth’s subterranean depths. Resting deep within this blackened sanctuary is a raw Green Fluorite crystal, subtly touched with black gesso to integrate its mineral body into the volcanic soot. Positioned dynamically in the lower-left-center as a pristine geometric fulcrum is a singular, solid Brass Disc—acting as a cold, cosmic sun that balances the organic chaos of the surrounding terrain.
