To capture the silent inception of life within the early planetary crust, the artwork establishes a powerful tripartite asymmetric dialogue on canvas. Completely discarding wire architecture, the upper-left quadrant is dominated by a rugged Hanji mountain ridge, under which raw copper foil peeks through weathered oxidized copper leaf. In diagonal tension at the lower-right quadrant, the composition plunges into a cavernous Terraced Obsidian Womb—sculpted from stratified layers of black Hanji and midnight black gesso to represent the subterranean depths of the newborn Earth.
Double-Patinated Copper & Solid Brass Fulcrum
